Distro: Manjaro

Desktop Environment: KDE

Command-line shell: zsh

Hey!! I had Ubuntu and switched to linux mint cause I prefer I clean desktop environment vs. the terminal...I blew my windows partition away

Ahh man, I really dislike Linus for the limitations. Yeah, you an customize like crazy but it's kind of complex (for me) because I grew up using Windows. Windows 10 (call it what ever you want) it's an amazing OS.

My laptop had Windows 10

Hated it.

 

Installed Linux on my laptop

Never looked back.

Wasn't really complex for me except a few things here and there, but I learned to fix things myself

Linux is great for getting low-end computers to work properly. The only reason why I use Windows at all is because there are barely any games on Linux, and my computer is high-mid end so I can actually play most new games on it at least on high settings. Otherwise, I vastly prefer Linux. My favorite distro is Xubutu.

I like windows and prefer it, but if you blow the partition away and there's no way to recover it, linux is a free way to almost compensate the loss.

There is a lot of games on Linux, but you usually don't get the latest AAA games upon release which gives it the illusion that Linux barely has any games

I use Ubuntu for my old PC (768 mb ram, Pentium 4 single core and a 128mb nvidia graphics) it works fine and is a save harbour for unnecessary files like photos and so on
