Built by Hanomag this light tank project was born roughly at the same time as the Leopard I and was aimed at replacing the M41 Walker Bulldog in service and provide a cheaper tank able to deal with Soviet armour, specialized for armed reconnaissance. It was nonetheless armed with the standard Rheinmetall 90mm also shared by the Kanonenjagdpanzer and very similar to the one sported by the M47 and M48 Patton

Specs:
Caliber: 90mm
Armour: Hull 25/20/8mm Turret 20/20/20mm
Engine: Diesel 650 hp
Speed: 80 km/h+
Traverse speed: Gear 1= 38 km/h; Gear 2= 44 km/h

Reason to add:
This vehicle will be the fastest tank in TankTastic. Which makes it featured & fun to play

You know exactly where this tank came from and it's exactly why this tank is even mentioned.

?

This tanks also happens to be in that "other game", but that's no reason to not add it.

I got bored over the weekend and started making some statistics for some of the tanks I've proposed before, and this is one of them. Go to my Tank Rebalances topic to get to the spreadsheet to see it, it's in a fourth sheet I made.

AFRIKA KORPS

Remember, I'm not recruiting and I never will be

The M41 was an American tank therefore this tank would not have replaced it in service
