Hello friends I thought I'd share a few pictures with you all and for fun if anyone can tell me what the artillery piece is, it looks like a huge bore size.

Yes, it's the ZSU-23-4 "Shilka". It is a 4 barrelled Soviet SPAAG.

As for the towed-artillery piece; I believe it's the American M115. Known as the 8-inch howitzer.

The first two pictures represent an American M115 203mm heavy howitzer; the original heavy field gun concept design can be traced as back as 1919: development was discontinued and slowed down because of several different reasons and historical events such as the Great Depression.

The M115 used the same carriage as the M1/M2 155mm Long Tom, alongside which saw service in WWII; the latter, however, was generally preferred due to greater firing range. Eventually, however, the M115 finally had its moment under the spotlight: it was, in fact, adopted by several NATO armies to fire the W33 and W79 nuclear artillery shells, thus playing a crucial role in NATO military doctrine - the Alliance mainly relied on nuclear weapons rather than conventional ones - until the smallest types of tactical nuclear weapons were decommissioned and eliminated.

Still, it proved to be a successful design and an effective heavy field howitzer, and was thus adopted as a conventional weapon by several nations in Europe, Middle-East and Asia, seeing combat in many minor conflicts.

actually, those aren't holes USMC, those are the tank's bulbs, common on Russian tanks.
