Hello guys,

 

All of you probably know, a moderator, senior moderator and admin are getting bonus things for their job.

So I was thinking, is it not a bit unfair for the Wikia/forum admins and moderators, because they don't get anything for their hard work for the community.

Maybe I'm wrong, and they get something already, but so far I know, it isn't.

The Tanktastic Wikia is not powered by Tanktastic's developers, hence, there is nothing they can do with that. Users who contribute to the Tanktastic Wikia are volunteers who do this because they want to help, not because they want awards for their job.
 
Most Staff members on the forum are also Staff members in-game, which means they get a little amount higher bonus in the week for their job. However, as stated above, Staff members are doing a job for the community because they want to, not because they want awards for it.

That is volunteer work, not a work to get paid for. Don't take this seriously but if you joined the wiki page, just to get "rewarded" don't even bother.

I do things on the wiki because it's fun. In other games, I use wikis extensively because I want to know everything about a game I play. Tanktastic Wiki still needs a ton of work, and it doesn't have professional help because this is a relatively small game. So, I'm constantly finding ideas and getting code from better wikis to make ours awesome.

I work on the wiki because I found that it is the way for me to contribute to our community. Instead of doing Youtube videos or assisting here on the forum, I found that working on the wiki is for me. I am knowledgeable of the tanks in the game, and I want to share this knowledge to new players that are getting started, players that need information on that next tank to purchase for themselves, or players that just need more tips to further develop their skill. This will be especially important when 2.0 arrives, as there will be an unspeakable amount of changes to the game that all need to be completely and thoroughly addressed to have our players leave reading these pages with no more inquires.

We not rekting him, we criticizing and explaining why his proposal is a bit.......off. That's our job, in proposals and suggestions, you citicize and argue weather the idea might be beneficial or might simply be a good addition.

We all love Dave, how can we disrespect him, specially me, since we both clanmates and good friends.

I may be a tad bit late for this (ok really late) but personally I the insane person whose literally the only person still working on where others simply just left off and given up on, Im still working not due to rewards but more of a archive of what tanktastic is/was and i also enjoy finding out how some people are still looking back to the wiki as a source of reliable info instead of an outdated deteriorating shell of its former self. Even if Tanktastic was to be gone somehow we could at least look at its legacy and that as a wiki admin im not motivated by sparkly things such as rewards but just by legacy.
