Now, i know this will make some people agree with me. My idea for a large multiplier map would have to be the legendary fields of Normandy, France. The large fields and hills of Normandy are great for the players of tanktastic to experience the true battlefield feel. It allows the player to do some long range sniping in hull down positions or even roll out in a small tank platoon to flank an enemy offensive. The maximum amount of players should be at most 24 to make the map feel a little less "empty". The map would be great for ww2 league events (If theyre still being held in tt). It would also let artillery players to do some long range sniping near there spawn without constant death from the enemy team like in the western map and sometimes the military map.

but if you let that happen everyone would then want more, like a map of Volgograd(Stalingrad), Poland, France(beside normandy)... but it would be nice to see larger maps and more of the old winter map feeling but even I don't see this being added to the STANDARD game play. which honestly Alabino, old winter, and jungle suit bigger battles just fine(naturally not a 12 verse 12 scale) but still you can have 2 very different views of the match from which side of the map your on, and the artillery range doesn't even cover all of the new winter map so a map 2 or 3 times the size would be even more difficult for artillery.
and my curiosity do you mean the beaches which would be more hell than hills on Jungle, the hedgerows behind the beaches, or a town area based off of a Normandy like area, which to me it would be simpler to use the resources already in game, a Jungle like beach for the beaches obviously, bit of a Alabino map with added trees and bushes for a Hedgerow likeness, and Village map for a town or farm. Of course there's the problem of combining the map features but I figure cutting some resources from previous maps might give this idea hope over making a complete map larger than all others from scratch

I like the concept just needs a bit more minor tweaks like what Ob max said assuming your talking about the beach area it will be great to have a map which has part of it's area covered in water, and with the cliffsides on the actual beach the map can bring back the old winter feels with enemies taking pot shots at you over the cliffside onto the beach (*note to balance out the team spawns to prevent spawn camping the "defending" team will spawn far from the cliffs and the cliffsides will be poorly protected and leveled to allow the enemy team to have a chance, the "invading" team will spawn behind a cliff that is unreachable by the enemy team unless they go to certain entry points similar to military)
